The national brand behind your North OC team
Honors earned by The Brothers That Just Do Gutters national brand
These recognitions were earned by the national company and its founders back East. They belong to the brand, not to our Anaheim franchise, and here is what that backing means when our crew shows up at your house.
The Brothers That Just Do Gutters was founded in 1999 by brothers Ken and Ryan Parsons, and gutters are all the company does. Over the years the national brand has been recognized by a trade publication, a business magazine, a customer survey firm and chambers of commerce for growth, workplace culture and the way it treats customers.
Sara Baayoun owns and runs the Anaheim franchise out of Fountain Valley. The honors below are the brand’s. What our local team inherits is the system behind them: Solutionists instead of salespeople, free written estimates and gutters as the whole job.
The recognitions, as the brand lists them
| Recognition | Given by | What it recognized |
|---|---|---|
| Remodeling Big50, 2012 (Niches category) | Remodeling magazine, published by Hanley Wood, LLC | Owners Ryan and Ken Parsons, selected for professionalism, integrity, craftsmanship and impact on the industry |
| SmartCEO Future 50 | SmartCEO Magazine | The fastest-growing mid-sized companies in the New York region, chosen on three-year average employee and revenue growth |
| SmartCEO Corporate Culture, 2015 | SmartCEO Magazine | A creative, collaborative and performance-driven workplace culture |
| “Best Place to Work” Headliner | Dutchess County Chamber of Commerce | Valuing employees through daily relationships: trust, respect, fair wages and regular communication |
| Guildmaster, 2016 (PA) | GuildQuality | Exemplary customer service, judged on client surveys, with a recommendation rate of 90% or greater required |
| OCCC Medium Business of the Year | The Orange County Chamber of Commerce in New York’s Hudson Valley (not our Orange County) | The company’s growth and its dedication to the local community |
The brand’s list also includes Remodeling’s Forty Under 40.
The Big50 story
In 2012 Remodeling magazine selected Ryan Parsons and Ken Parsons, owners of The Brothers That Just Do Gutters, to join the Remodeling Big50. The class was honored at a gala dinner at the Remodeling Leadership Conference in Baltimore, MD on May 11, 2012, and announced from Lagrangeville, NY on June 8th, 2012. Since 1986 the Big50 has inducted 50 remodeling company owners a year after a lengthy evaluation and interview process, and the brothers were selected in the Niches category. “We are very honored to receive this distinction,” said Ken Parsons, Senior Solutionist.
What that backing means for your North OC home
- A company that only does gutters, top to bottom.
- Solutionists who diagnose first and sell second.
- Free, itemized, written estimates on every job.
- New systems sized to the roof, not the original spec.
- Every review published, positive or negative.
- A local owner and crew, with a national playbook behind them.
