Quick answer
Gutter services in La Palma, CA: The Brothers That Just Do Gutters Anaheim cleans, repairs and installs seamless aluminum, copper and bonderized steel gutters on La Palma homes. In this 1.8-square-mile city about three quarters of the houses went up between 1960 and 1979, after the dairies moved out, so many gutters, hangers and fascia boards are now 45 to 65 years old. We hand clean and flush, reseal joints, rehang sagging runs, replace soft fascia and fit BroGuard micro-mesh. Call (714) 276-6631 or book online.
La Palma Gutter Solutionists
Gutters for the small, settled city of La Palma
La Palma incorporated on October 26, 1955 under the name Dairyland, one of three dairy cities in this corner of the county. In 1965, as the herds moved east, the city renamed itself after its main road, La Palma Avenue. Tract homes filled the old pasture quickly: Census estimates place 38 percent of today’s housing in the 1960s and another 38 percent in the 1970s. The whole city covers just 1.8 square miles, the smallest in Orange County by area, so most streets are lined with houses built within a few years of each other.
The Brothers That Just Do Gutters Anaheim is owned by Sara Baayoun, and our crew drives up from the Fountain Valley shop for La Palma jobs from Moody Street to Valley View Street. On each visit we hand clean and flush, tighten loose joints and end caps, form seamless gutters on site, replace worn fascia board and set BroGuard stainless micro-mesh over the trough. Most La Palma roofs are past 45 years old, so the hangers, seams and boards behind the gutter get as much attention as the gutter, and every estimate comes free and in writing.
Fullerton Municipal Airport, about four miles east, is the closest NOAA station with 1991 to 2020 normals: 11.86 inches of rain a year, with 65 percent of it landing in December, January and February. Owners live in about 68 percent of La Palma’s occupied homes, per Census estimates, and most of those houses are original 1960s and 1970s builds. NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center has an El Niño Advisory in place, which makes October and November the sensible time to clear and test every run.

October or November works for most homes, before the December to February stretch that brings about 65 percent of the year’s rain. If a big tree hangs over your roof, plan a second cleaning in spring. Our maintenance program schedules both so you do not have to keep track.
That comes down to the metal and the boards behind it. If the gutter is solid and only the joints drip, resealing and rehanging can carry it for years. If seams fail again after each fix, the hangers will not hold or the fascia is soft, a new seamless run is the better investment. We write up both prices so you can compare.
Usually a clogged outlet, a low spot where the gutter has sagged, or a corner miter that has opened up. On older La Palma homes it is often all three. We clear the outlet, re-pitch the run so water reaches the downspout and reseal or replace the corner.
Not always. Guards make the most sense when trees drop on the roof more than once a season or when the gutters are hard to reach. BroGuard stainless micro-mesh keeps leaves on top and lets rain through, so most homes need a quick check instead of a full cleaning. We will tell you honestly if your house needs it.
It raises the odds without promising anything. NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center expects a strong to very strong El Niño to last through early 2027, which tilts the odds toward a wetter season here. Either way, clean gutters and clear downspouts going into December are the simplest way to avoid overflow.
