Cerritos Gutter Solutionists
Gutters for the planned neighborhoods of Cerritos
Cerritos started out as Dairy Valley, incorporated on April 24, 1956, when more than 400 dairies and about 100,000 cows far outnumbered the 3,439 residents. Rising land values in the early 1960s pushed the dairies out, voters approved large-scale home building in 1963, and the city took the name Cerritos on January 10, 1967. Between 1970 and 1972 it was the fastest-growing city in California, going from 4,373 people in 1968 to 40,750 in 1973. That burst of planned tracts, laid out around Heritage Park, Liberty Park and 18 neighborhood parks, is where most Cerritos families live today.
The Brothers That Just Do Gutters Anaheim is owned by Sara Baayoun, and our Fountain Valley crew works Cerritos streets on both sides of the 91. Here we clean and flush gutters by hand, repair loose joints and sagging sections, form seamless gutters on site, replace worn fascia board and put BroGuard stainless micro-mesh on top. With so many Cerritos houses now around 50 years old, we check the fascia and hangers as closely as the gutter itself, and every estimate is free and in writing.
The nearest NOAA station with 1991 to 2020 normals, at Fullerton Municipal Airport, records 11.86 inches of rain a year, and 7.73 inches of it falls December through February. Census estimates show 55 percent of Cerritos housing was built in the 1970s and another 23 percent in the 1960s, so most roofs are past the 45-year mark and their gutters and fascia have weathered decades of winter storms. With an El Niño Advisory in effect from NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center, this is a good fall to clean out and test the whole system before the first big storm.

Why the Brothers
Why Cerritos Homeowners Call the Brothers
Most Cerritos homes went up in the 1960s and 1970s, and we look closely at the fascia, hangers and seams that wear first at that age.
We protect the landscaping, haul away old gutter sections and leave the driveway as clean as we found it.
Our crew is based in Fountain Valley, a short drive from Cerritos, so estimates and follow-up visits are easy to fit in.
Sara Baayoun is the local owner, and your call reaches our own office. Phone (714) 276-6631 for a free written estimate in Cerritos.
Year-round
Your Cerritos gutter calendar
In Cerritos the rain comes mostly in December, January and February, so the year’s gutter work is built around those months.
- Fall · Sep to NovEmpty the summer debris
Months of dry-season leaves and grit sit in the trough. Clear it and flush every downspout before December.
- Winter · Dec to FebLook during a storm
Spilling corners, drips behind the gutter or puddles along the slab all point to a problem worth a visit.
- Spring · Mar to MayRepair and add guards
Patch what winter loosened, replace any soft fascia and add BroGuard under trees that shed into the gutter.
- Summer · Jun to AugReplace in dry weather
Steady dry weather makes summer the right time for full replacements, extra downspouts and underground drain lines.

Once a year before the rain for most homes, usually in October or November. If trees overhang the roof, add a spring visit. About two thirds of the year’s rain comes December through February, so the fall cleaning is the one that matters most. Our maintenance program books both.
Sometimes. If the metal is sound, resealing seams, rehanging sagging sections and adding a downspout can buy many more years. If the joints leak again after every repair or the fascia is soft, replacing with seamless gutters is usually the better spend. We will price both options in writing.
Yes. Seamless aluminum comes in a range of factory colors, so the gutter can match the trim or the stucco and blend into the house. Copper and bonderized steel are options too if you want a different look. We go over the choices with you at the estimate.
Usually water getting behind the gutter. A gutter that has pulled away from the fascia, a gap at the roof edge, or a clog that sends water over the back lip will all soak the board. Left alone, the wood softens and the gutter loses its grip. We find the source, replace any rotted fascia and rehang the gutter tight to the roof.
It makes fall the time to do it. NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center expects a strong El Niño to hold through the winter, which tilts the odds toward a wetter season in Southern California without guaranteeing one. A fall visit clears the gutters, flushes the downspouts and fixes loose sections while the roof is dry.
