Hawaiian Gardens Gutter Solutionists
Gutters for the small, close-knit city of Hawaiian Gardens
Before it had a name, this corner of the county was farm country called The Delta, with dairies, truck farms and a few oil wells. In 1927 someone opened a fruit stand trimmed with palms at the dirt crossroads of Carson Street and Norwalk Boulevard and called it Hawaiian Gardens, and the name stuck. Cheap land during the Depression drew families who bought or built their own homes despite unpaved roads and frequent floods. The city incorporated on April 9, 1964, paved every street by 1968, and today covers 0.94 square miles of land, the smallest city by area in its county.
The Brothers That Just Do Gutters Anaheim is owned by Sara Baayoun, and our Fountain Valley crew handles Hawaiian Gardens jobs on every block between Pioneer Boulevard and the Cypress city line. On these homes we hand clean and flush, patch split seams, rehang loose sections, form seamless gutters on site, replace worn fascia board and fit BroGuard stainless micro-mesh where it earns its keep. Many Hawaiian Gardens lots are small and the houses vary a lot in age, so we measure each roof and check the wood behind the gutter before quoting, and every estimate is free and in writing.
Long Beach Daugherty Field, about four miles west, holds the nearest NOAA 1991 to 2020 normals: 12.02 inches of rain in a typical year, and January and February alone bring 5.91 inches of it. Census estimates show 12 percent of Hawaiian Gardens housing was built in the 1940s and 58 percent between 1950 and 1979, so a lot of fascia here has carried a gutter for 45 years or longer. NOAA lists an El Niño Advisory for this winter, so cleaning and testing in the fall makes sense.

Year-round
Your Hawaiian Gardens gutter calendar
In Hawaiian Gardens two thirds of the year’s rain falls from December through February, so gutter work is planned around those three months.
- Fall · Sep to NovEmpty it before the rain
The dry months fill the trough with leaves and grit. Clear it out and flush each downspout by November.
- Winter · Dec to FebNotice where it spills
A storm shows you the weak spots: spilling corners, drips behind the gutter and water pooling by the walls.
- Spring · Mar to MayMend and guard
Seal what leaked, replace soft fascia and put BroGuard on runs under trees that shed onto the roof.
- Summer · Jun to AugReplace in dry weather
Summer is the time for new seamless gutters, added downspouts and drain lines out of tight side yards.

Once a year before the rain for most houses, in October or November, because December through February brings about two thirds of the year’s rainfall. A house with a tree over the roof may need a spring cleaning as well, and our maintenance program can handle both.
On a house that old, the gutter has probably been replaced at least once, but the fascia boards behind it may be original or patched. We check the wood for rot, look at how the gutter is hung and tell you whether a repair will hold or a new seamless run is the smarter spend.
There are usually options. We can turn the outlet toward the front or back of the lot, add a splash block or extension, or run an underground line through our drainage partner so water leaves the side yard instead of soaking the wall.
Corners collect debris and are where seams usually fail first. A clog at the outlet, a sag that stops water from reaching the downspout or an open miter will all cause it. We clear, re-pitch and reseal, or replace the corner if the metal is worn out.
Fall is a smart time either way. NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center expects a strong to very strong El Niño to hold into early 2027, which improves the odds of a wet winter but does not promise one. Clean gutters and tested downspouts are ready for whatever comes.
